Greene Wellbeing opened its doors nearly 15 years ago when I had an idea as a new mum who had recently moved to the area.​

Quite often in life I've found a few things occur that at the time make no sense and then all of a sudden they all come together.​

I grew up in a beauty salon. My mother had a school, studio and salon when my sister and I were growing up and we used to help/cause trouble at the reception on weekends and holidays. We found ourselves in the incredible position of having facials through our teens with amazing skin care advice and going in as models when asked for the students at her school.

It was only natural that I would then train as a therapist and after leaving college I qualified as a beauty therapist and later would specialise in massage.

Despite having a huge interest in the beauty world my part time job while at college led me to a career in restaurant management and in the latter years I was a coffee shop manager and trainer at Starbucks.

During my pregnancy I was already feeling that beauty and massage were my ideal job and then leaving London to move to Chesham and the birth of my son made my mind up.​

In those early years I felt that every muscle in my body ached and was desperate to have a massage therapist on speed dial to give me a head and neck massage while I fed my baby. In addition to this I was in a new place physically and emotionally in Chesham as a new mum.​

This is when Greene Wellbeing really started to take shape. I wanted to offer a service that looked after mums that was warm and inviting and easy even a place to make friends. This idea coincided with my mum driving into her garage, thankfully no one was hurt. The garage was rebuilt as a summerhouse.

Greene Wellbeing started life in the amazing summerhouse then moved to my own home and is now in Chiltern House in Chesham.

The business began as a hub for women in pregnancy and the postnatal period and whilst that very much remains it has changed over the years including all the family and sessions for teenagers.

 

My aim will always remain the same, to provide excellent customer service, a warm and welcoming environment and flexibility to all clients, constantly striving to giver every opportunity for clients to easily take care of themselves.
